Norfolk's American Connections Project
Between July and November 2012 a project is running to highlight Norfolk's American Connections. Norfolk's links date back over 400 years to the days of the Pilgrim Fathers. Since then people have traversed the Atlantic in both directions, fighting wars, exchanging skills, sharing knowledge and influencing each other's cultures and religions.
Future Radio's Mike Stevens has produced a podcast where he talks to people behind the project about the wide variety of events that will take place to celebrate this important connection.
