News & Events
As Norwich's community radio station we feel it is more important than ever to keep you updated on the latest happenins locally whilst keeping you entertained. That said we do take the wellbeing of our volunteers very seriously so we have made some changes to our weekday daytime schedule so we can keep broadcasting to you.
We are introducing a new show called The Community Session between 11am and 1pm Monday to Wednesday (11-12 Thursdays). Each day one of our presenters will keep you company with local updates on the Coronavirus, what the community is doing to help, tips on what things you can be doing from home all mixed with great tunes and much needed good news stories. This will replace Norwich Today Monday to Wednesday for the time being.
Business Life with Richard Maun joined by Anna Stevenson on the phone will remain on air 12-2pm helping local businesses navigate this difficult period.
Sight of Music with Eamonn Burgess will start an hour later on Fridays at 11am until 1pm.
Toby Newton will be stepping in on Monday nights with Toby's Most Wanted at 8pm, plus he will also be sitting in on Sound of the Suburbs for the foreseeable in place of Russell Turner.
Boogie Bureau's Kev O'Connor is taking a break so in place Chrome's Funk and Soul Show will kick start your weekend every Friday until 6.
In other changes C86 moves to 6pm with a brand new show The Road Goes on Forever starting Tuesdays at 7pm as Nigel Westall focuses on the theme of travel and road trip tunes for your Tuesday night.
You may hear voices at different times but we will do all we can to keep Norwich's community radio station going through these strange times, so please stay tuned!
