New time for Drive and Other Schedule Changes
You can now catch Drive 4-6pm weekdays. We'll be bringing you the evening's weather plus travel updates for Norwich and the surrounding area; the events happening in our fine city; guests and, of course, great tunes from the classics right through to now ALL as you drive home. Join Kate Roma on Mondays, Sam Day on Tuesdays, our latest addition to the drive team Joe Lever on Wednesdays, Thursdays belong to Dean Tucker and on Friday Mike Stonard rounds off your week.
Following Drive at 6pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays is another chance to hear that day's Norwich Today - our lifestyle, business and social affairs show keeping you in touch with local affairs. Hear Mike Stonard on Mondays and Tuesdays and join our new Norwich Today presenter Claire Craig on Wednesdays.
Following drive on Thursday will be All New People's Playlists - a whole hour of music dedicated to you. If you’d like to present your own People’s Playlist then click here.
Our specialist shows commence as normal at 7pm Monday to Thursdays and at 6pm on Fridays.
There will also be some changes to our afternoon schedule featuring TWO brand new shows. We've already mentioned Claire Craig is joining Norwich Today, but she will also be bringing you a whole hour of 90s tunes Thursdays at 3pm playing everything the 90s have to offer from the well known to the forgotten gems. We are also pleased to welcome Lee Staples who brings us Things To Make You Go Oooh! Lee brings his what some might call eclectic, others would say random, selection of music & audio files to titillate & reminisce on childhood memories. So expect a bit of everything... but certainly the unexpected Tuesdays at 3pm with another chance to listen Thursdays at 7pm.
Our other afternoon changes include a look at the places you could be travelling to around the world with Great Destinations Wednesday at 3pm. And Friday afternoons are given over to Russell Turner with another chance to hear that week’s Sound of the Suburbs 2-4pm.
Our fortnightly Thursday evening schedule is also undergoing a slight change. You can catch Unheard Of with James Clayton at 8pm fortnightly and then your chance to discover the music of Frank Zappa as John White brings you The Zappa Files fortnightly at 9pm. The other Thursday evenings remain the same with Lost Radio Outpost at 8pm and Jonny Champion’s NuJazz Jukebox at 9pm.
