Like Optimists - Fake
Like Optimists began on August 8th 2015 when Azza and Nathan uploaded their first demo of a song called “I Never Knew”. After 2 years of on/off writing, 5 more demos, and other side projects, they decided it was time to enlist the help of James and Will to make their bedroom recording project a reality. They made their live debut in the summer of 2017 and have played shows in Norwich, Southend, London, and even a gig at Ipswich Town Football club! They've just released their first proper single, "Fake", to extremely positive reviews. Their music is mainly inspired by punk rock and alternative acts from the early 2000's; the music that we grew up with. Green Day, My Chemical Romance, and Blink-182, just to name a few. Each member of the band brings their own personal influences into the mix, making a sound that is somewhat unique.
Mega Emotion - Laura
Mega Emotion play drums and percussion over electronic beats and build walls of sound that loop dirty baselines against pumping synths and scuzzy guitars. They wear floor-length ceremonial robes, with faces dusted in glitter and stars swept through their hair. The band’s debut BRAINS won Steve Lamacq’s Roundtable on BBC 6 Music. Their demo material has been championed by BBC Introducing and played by DJs including John Kennedy, Mark Radcliffe, Tom Robinson, Tom Ravenscroft and Nemone.
Red Dear – In Response
During the process of writing these songs, their school music teacher gave us a partially broken classical guitar. They repaired it the best they could so that they could play it during the recording of these tracks. They decided that once the recordings were finished, rather than leave it to gather dust, they would carefully deconstruct it (a tough decision to make) and cut it into small parts, including one piece with each limited version of the EP. The title of their EP, “An Imperfect Cadence” is a musical term that means a continuation is needed, so even though this guitar is no longer played, it hasn’t come to a definite end; it continues its life in a different form as part of the artwork for their EP.
Taryn Everdeen - Running
Taryn Everdeen is 17 years old, studying English Lit, French and Photography A Levels. She's been writing songs since she was thirteen, and performed with the Norwich Arts Centre's artist development programme 'Sonic Youths' in 2016. She focuses more on portrait photography now, but I still enjoy writing and performing. 'Running' is about experiencing overwhelming emotion and not knowing how to deal with it, choosing to escape it rather than confront it.
Weathered Well – Angels
Weathered Wall ... a journey leading from experimental electronic and synth music to Indie/Alternative Rock ... an expression of images, ideas, feelings, thoughts ... transformed into rhythmic sound ... Dean Burnett, and now the talented Coral Cross and Dug Dale form a new sounding, expressive Weathered Wall......

Ted Gage – Kids
He has just recorded an EP of 6 tracks all his own music. He lives in Norwich and has been writing songs for the last 40 years. He has taken my music out on to the streets of Norwich and Cambridge this year and has had a great response, so much so that people are always asking him to record a CD. He plays everything live layering tracks using a loop pedal, everything he plays he writes himself which has always been his thing to keep it original.
WRECK - 6 Hours in
WRECK are a punk trio from Norwich who infuse rambunctious lo-fi punk with the vintage surf-rock sound! WRECK was started as a bedroom project by frontman/bassist Diogo Da Silva and guitarist Matty Kennedy but only really became a band after the duo recruited Sam Serazin to play drums. WRECKS debut show saw them pack out Gringos Bar in Norwich which has created great hype in the Norwich music scene over the new up and coming trio. Punters should expect great things, high energy shows and humorous behaviours from the Norwich trio!
Kayleigh Marie - I don’t know you
Kayleigh Marie is an up and coming unsigned music artist in Norwich. She is 27 and a single parent and is pushing her music hard for 2019.
Lisa Redford – When Christmas Comes Around

KAVES – TBT
This is Norwich based KAVES. They have a ton of gigging experience around the country from their previous incarnation, including shows at the 100 Club and O2 Islington Academy in London as well as The Waterfront and UEA in Norwich to name but a few. But as of now, hey are heading into new waters....and style wise, it's a tough one...but these are the bands/artists they are currently listening to.. Yonaka, Black Peaks, Vukovi, Twin Atlantic, Twin Wild, Twenty one Pilots, Nothing But Thieves, Lady Gaga, Straight Lines, Lower Than Atlantis, Mallory Knox, You Me At Six, London Grammar....the list goes on...but they are all playing some part in the music they're writing.
