New Radio Player and Other Updates
As you may have noticed we now have a new radio player to listen to Future Radio online!
This was put together by Martin Watters (who edits the Platform show) and hopefully it will help you listen to Future Radio online a little easier than before. It uses Windows Media Player, but there are links on the player to our streaming help page and also a Mac logo
which you can click on to load up the stream in your preferred audio player (as before).
If you listen online and have any feedback on the player please do let us know your thoughts as we're still tweaking the player to be more user friendly!

Today's Community Chest show with Jasmine (10am-12pm) is being broadcast as part of Refugee Week in Norwich, and also 'Refugee Week Radio' which is a week of radio broadcasts and shows dedicated to Refugee Week including various interviews, discussion and other interesting programmes and features.

Alex James (Blur) to appear on Future
We are pleased to announce the appearance of a very special guest on one of our forthcoming shows!
On Sunday 14th June, Alex James, celebrity cheesemaker and bassist with the recently reformed Blur, joins DJ78 (Dave Guttridge) on 'The Shellac Shake' to chat about music and pick some favourite tunes from the 78rpm era.
Dave met Alex when DJ-ing with his 78s in a London club and he has since travelled to rural Oxfordshire to perform at Alex's birthday party.
When planning the show, Dave emailed Alex to see if he would have time in his very busy schedule to appear, and was very pleasantly suprised by the star's willingness and enthusiasm.
The guest segment of the show was recorded on location at Alex James' house in Kingham a couple of weeks ago and will form part of the two hour show when it airs the day after Blur play their first gig in 6 years in Colchester.
The photo included shows DJ78 (Dave Guttridge) & Alex James recording the show at Alex's house in Oxfordshire.
