Console Wars

Console Wars were formed early 2007 and compromise of Stephen Wagstaff on vocals and guitar, Craig Harton on guitar, Stephen Hall on guitar and synth, Jack Stewart on bass and J Burnel on drums. Described as 'synth-infused dark indie dance pop' this band combines an eclectic range of styles, drawing heavily on the pop sensibilites of the 80s along with more modern guitar riffs and bass lines.

Screaming Ground -

"Electronic laced indie rock created by 5 very clever guys. A definate penchant for pop hooks and choruses mix brilliantly with well written verses and create songs that will be stuck in your ears for days. Previously going under the name Voyagers, this 5 have a new outlook and a new name, along with a more dancy, synth infused sound. Keep your ears out. For Fans of: Bloc Party, Mew, New Order, Dancey, well written indie rock."

Milkbar Records -

"Perhaps the best band at UEA? Certainly we at Milkbar are big fans. Creating electro-indie in the vein of TV on the Radio, New Order and Midnight Juggernauts, Console Wars are a band we've been wanting to host for a while. They have made quite a name for themselves, despite having some members overseas for a year, and you can expect to be hearing about them a lot more now they are all on home soil."

They have gone from strength to strength under their short lived tenure, attracting interest from music bosses, record labels, club nights and music representatives from the city. Expect to be entertained.
