2011 Cavell Festival

Edith Cavell wa a Norfolk born nurse and humanitarian. She is celebrated for saving the lives of soldiers from all sides during the 1st World War and helping some 200 Allied soldiers escape from German occupied Belgium. She was arrested, court-martialled and shot for treasoin by a German firing squad.
