It’s December and that means a new selection of local music for you to enjoy during the festive season. Here are the Norfolk-based artists that have released musical masterpieces in the past month!

Chris Moorhouse – Rock ‘n’ Roll Christmas
Based near Holt, Chris is a songwriter, singer and guitarist.
Freya Roy – Fantasies Reimagined
Suffolk-based singer-songwriter Freya Roy has already performed at Latitude 2021 and won awards for her brand of ‘street-soul’.
itffits – Brain in Chains
Suffolk-based itffits have garnered a reputation as one of East-Anglia’s up and comers in the post-punk scene.
Kitty May – Missing Piece
Norwich-based singer-songwriter Kitty May has just recorded her first single at Catch 21 studios. She plans to record and release an EP in the near future.
LAZYBOY – Kill It Right
4 piece alternative indie band from Norwich, having featured on September’s local music playlist with their release “New Frequency”, they have made the list again with their latest release!
Love Trapezium – Daydream
Local Tik-Tok sensations Love Trapezium have found a unique and instantly catchy sound, with hyperpop beats and synths.
Marina Florance – Rainbows
Originally from London, Marina’s music can be described as a combination of Americana, Folk & Country.
Mr A & The Football Angels – Where is Christmas?
Charity Christmas single recorded by Mr A along with ‘The Football Angels’ aka Sprowston Girls u13’s.
Parasite – On Paper
Indie band that have been making music since 1998, their new release was recorded across 3 different counties during lockdown, with the band-members sending stem tracks to each other electronically.
Tempus Frayed – One in A Million
The trio have an upcoming gig at the John Peel Centre in Suffolk on the 18th December, this is the band’s 6th release and their 3rd time being featured on our monthly playlists!
The Vagaband – Avalon
About to release their 4th LP, this new single is reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac. The Vagaband will be playing at the Norwich Arts Centre on the 21st December.
