The UK’s heating up! It’s well into May and that means a new selection of local music for you to listen to while you wait for Summer. Here are the Norfolk-based artists that have released musical masterpieces in the past month!

Adam Greenall – I Believe In You
Adam is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist living in Norwich. He has featured on the playlist years ago as a solo artist, and is also one half of local band Funderbuck Revival who have featured more recently.
Eat Your Own Head – The Concrete of Moulded Men
Eat Your Own Head are a 4-piece Alt/Noise Rock band from Norwich. ‘Concrete of Moulded Men’ is their second featured single leading up to their debut album ‘Neck-Deep in The Blyth’, set to be released on 20th May.
Ella Rose – Broke My Heart
Ella is a local musician who wrote this track after reading the graphic novel Sweet Tooth by Jeff Lemire.
Floral Image – Dial In
Norwich-based psych-pop band, with their new track they present their own psychedelic take on 90’s rave house.
Freya Roy – Naked
Freya Roy is a rising star in nu-jazz and alternative soul music, and has already featured on the station a couple of times.
MMO – Secrets
MMO is a local 21 year-old House producer and DJ, this track is just the beginning as part of a further project planned for release this year.
My Dream Pagoda – Not Today
My Dream Pagoda is a singer-songwriter from Norwich who has just released 3 new tracks.
Red Ant Band – Nothing More
The seasoned blues-rock band continue their prominence on our monthly playlists with their most recent release.
Robin Shaw – Today’s Generation
Robin Shaw is a musician from Bressingham who has featured on the local playlist in the past, and his new track is a reflection on the last few years and the changes it has brought.
The Dreaming Void – The Pull
This local band play dark sounding, trippy rock, with this track seemingly taking influence from trip-hop. The band have more gigs coming up this year.
