12th Man: Talking Dads

Being a dad is just as important as being a mum, yet there aren’t many public spaces where we talk about what being a father means today.  We will hear from men with a wide range of parenting experiences: young, the not so young, single, dads who don’t live with their children, dads with disabilities, dads with children with disabilities, the list goes on.   These local dads will talk about the highs, the lows, the joys, and the challenges of being a parent.  As with all the 12^th Man radio shows there will be a strong emphasis on men’s mental health and every month we will also hear from local services about how they are supporting both mums and dads.  Every month we will also follow one man’s journey into first time fatherhood.
