Meet Your Hosts
I’m a massive music fan, loving pretty much anything that has a tune. When I get spare-time I take two or more tracks and mash them up; it’s amazing what you can create! I love living in Norwich and have been here for over 25 years but originally come from Nottingham.
I was born in Norwich and love it. When I’m not tidying up for my co-host (and husband Christian) I put loads of energy into running our local community shop The Walled Garden Shop & Café. I also help at Nelson’s Journey and am really looking forward to getting stuck into supporting Future Charity projects.
Hi Friends! I grew up in the beautiful country of South Africa and I moved over to the UK when I was 21 on my big life adventure and it didn’t let me down. I came straight to Norwich and fell in love. I spent many years working and living in hotels and bars all around the country and in my mid 20s I headed on one of the greatest journeys yet. I was selected to be Entertainment Staff, hosting a whole bunch of fun events and activities, on some of the largest (at them time) cruise ships in the world! It was amazing but when I knew it had to come to and end I thought…. now what? Then it dawned on me, Radio Presenting! I found Future Radio, met with the powers that be and the rest they say, is history!
Emma became a Broadcast Assistant after discovering her love for radio with her Livewire1350 show, ‘Emma’s Elevenses’ at UEA. She soon became producer for The Community Session, and is now producing Saturday Brunch, with new games and guests on the way. She regularly does ballet at the UEA, and you’ll often see her in the city on a night out. You can challenge her to a game of chess or Mario Kart if you dare! Her go to brunch is a full English and a Cappuccino.
