October
9th-10th – More Than Just Fashion Shows @ Norfolk Showground
- Get ready for an unforgettable evening of style, sparkles and support at The Norfolk Showground Events Arena this October! Keeping Abreast are staging their 9th bi-annual ‘More than Just Fashion’ Show, where fashion meets fundraising.
- In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 25 amazing models, each at different stages of their breast cancer journey, will light up the runway with unstoppable confidence and style.
- The models will be styled head to toe in fabulous looks from both independent and big-name brands This is truly their moment to shine, and inspirational event you won’t want to miss!

12th – Murder Mystery Evening @ Royal Norwich

13th – Norwich Bead Fair @ Best Western George Hotel
- The long-standing Norwich bead fair is back 11-4pm at the Best Western George Hotel on October 13th.
- This event is perfect for the home jewellery maker, selling the latest semi-precious beads for making great jewellery. Some of the beads you can expect to find include jade, amethyst, turquoise, agates, carnelian, amber, garnet, labradorite, coral & lava beads by the string. There will also be loose beads and natural fresh water pearls, and findings to make jewellery. Along with hand-crafted jewellery designed by The Bead Queen.

19th – Repair Café @ The Warren (UEA)
- Head down to The Warren at the UEA today for their monthly repair café day.
- The group make repairs on any household items and keepsakes, restoring them to their original quality.
- Their repairs are free, and they also offer free refreshments as well as tasty homemade treats.
- This event runs from 9:30am – 2pm and there’s no need to book.
19th – Candle Pouring @ The Stage
- Come join us at THE STAGE for a fun-filled evening of candle pouring! Get creative and make your very own custom candles to take home.
- Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process, so no experience is necessary. Whether you’re a candle-making pro or a complete beginner, this event is perfect for everyone.

19th – Autumn Lights @ The Norfolk Showground
- Join us for a night of entertainment with Live Music from Phats & Small and award-winning DJ Ryan Swain.

20th – Norwich Vintage Kilo Sale @ The Forum
- Head down to The Forum for the Norwich Vintage Kilo Sale, organised by Worth The Weight.
- At this vintage sale, you pay for the weight of your clothes rather than the items individually, with the heavier items capped at £20!
- The event is running from 10am-4pm.
- Early bird entry (between 10-11am) costs £3, with general admission after then costing £2 with under 12’s going free!

24th – 27th – Norwich Book Festival @ The Forum
- The Forum bring the inaugural Norwich Book Festival to the fine city.
- This is a proper celebration of all things books in England’s first UNESCO’s City of Literature.
- There are events for all the family, including workshops and live readings from a wide range of genres.
- The event takes over the Forum between 24th-27th October.
- Entry is free, although some events will need to be pre-booked.
28th-31st – The Monster Club @ The Norfolk Showground
- Grab your little monsters and visit ‘The Monster Club’ HALLOWEEN CIRCUS this October for the ULTIMATE Family Night Out! 🎃
- Now in its 5th year, the critically-acclaimed ‘Monster Club Family Halloween Show’ returns to The Norfolk Showground, Norwich – combining the spectacle of circus with live music, comedy and dance to create the perfect half-term treat for little and big monsters from 2 to 102!
- Marvel at the high-flying acrobats and death-defying fire breathers while you try not to fall off your chair laughing at the incredible Pip Randelle (as ‘Freidrich Fright’) as he shows you his full box of tricks.

8th-10th – Festive Gift & Food Show @ The Norfolk Showground
- Enjoy three days of festive extravaganza at the Festive Gift & Food Show, taking place at The Norfolk Showground.

24th – Norwich Vegans Christmas Market @ The Forum
- Head over to The Forum on the 24th between 10am and 4pm for the Norwich Vegans Christmas Market!
- The Christmas Market supports local businesses, helps animals and the planet.
- The event is free entry and suitable for all age types. You can start your Christmas shopping, treat yourself or just come and experience the atmosphere.

30th – Choir Concert @ St Peter Mancroft Church
- JGM Choir and One Voice Glee Club join forces to host a spectacular choir concert at St Peter Mancroft Church.
- Both choirs will be playing an eclectic variety of songs to keep you entertained throughout.
- The concert begins at 12pm and runs until 1:30pm, with doors opening at 11:30am.
- Tickets cost £5 per person and can be collected from Jennifer Grace Music Academy.
December
20th-22nd – Bounce Into Christmas 2024 @ The Space
- Bounce Into Christmas is back to provide your little ones with some festive fun!
- The indoor event will provide up to 10 inflatables for youngsters to enjoy. The time slots will be 3 hours per session and once inside, children will have unlimited access to all the fun.
- Entertainment will include live music, Santa’s Grotto, a snow ball fight with naughty elves and much more!
- Food and refreshments will be available, alongside an onsite medic in case of any bumps or bruises.

Games Night @ Superbowl, Castle Meadow
- Welcome to Games Night at Superbowl UK Norwich! Join them on Monday at 7:00 PM for a fun-filled evening of games and laughter.

Fine City Samba Rehearsal @ Marlpit Community Centre
- The Fine City Samba group have regular rehearsals every Monday from 7:30-10pm.
- It’s free of charge for first timers, so if being part of a Samba band takes your fancy, why not pop along tonight?
- You can just watch for a bit or join in on any instrument.
- Rehearsals take place at the Marlpit Community Centre with onsite parking and wheelchair access.

The Hackspace – Mondays 7pm @ Lion House
- The Norwich Hackspace is open every Monday for visitors to pop in for free!
- The weekly sessions see members get together to discuss ongoing projects and share information in the world of computing.

50+ Lunch Club @ The Phoenix Centre
- If you are aged 50 or over, come along to the Phoenix Centre lunch club on the last Monday of each month for a free opportunity to socialise, have a hot lunch and receive some information & advice.
- Lunch is served from 12pm, and you will also have the chance to join in with quizzes, games and occasionally bingo. There is no set cost for attending this group or for the lunch, just donate what you can.
- An AgeUK specialist will be available from 11am-2pm to help provide the support needed to overcome stress and worry.

REST Coffee Mornings
- Pop down to the REST café based at Churchman House on Bethel Street for their weekly café session.
- This is the perfect opportunity to meet new people, as well as indulge in their wide variety of snacks, including home baked sausage rolls, hot street food specials, jacket potatoes and ciabattas, as well as coffee, tea, hot chocolate and soft drinks.
- The group runs from 10:30am – 12:30pm.
- Attendance is free, but you will need to buy your snacks. Payment is contactless.
The Norwich Jazz Jam @ The Wine Cellar
- The Norwich Jazz Jam takes place every Monday at The Wine Cellar.
- You can expect to find a gathering of jazz and blues musicians coming together for a wonderful evening of music.
- Everyone is welcome, whether you are an experienced musician or just a beginner, or simply an enthusiast, to share in the love of jazz, blues and swing.

Hester Yoga Classes @ Thorpe End Village Hall

Norwich Board Gamers @ St. Andrews Brew House
- The Norwich Board Gamer’s weekly gaming night is on every Monday and Tuesday at St. Andrews Brew House!
- They play a very wide range of games and you can bring yours in if you wish, or play those brought in by others.
- Anyone is welcome to come along and there is no charge or membership fee. Just turn up by 7:30pm and join in with any game that interests you.
Norwich Community Choir @ St. Cuthbert’s Church Hall
- Norwich Community Choir hold their rehearsals at St. Cuthbert’s Church in Sprowston at 7:15pm.
- As well as being involved in a friendly and welcoming group that loves to sing together, the Community Choir offers it’s members a rich social life!
- They have a reputation of passionate, polished, and uplifting performances.
- There is scientific research that shows us singing can lower blood pressure, improve immunity and increase happiness!

Dance to Health @ Pilling Park (NR1)
- Organised by Age UK, Pilling Park host weekly Dance to Health sessions for the over 55’s.
- With easy to learn moves and social interactions that will stimulate both your mind and body, the sessions will help to improve your fitness, balance and many more core skills with the help of specialist dance artists.

Shuffleboard Club @ Catton Grove Community Centre
- If you fancy testing yourself at a new game/sport, why not head over to the Catton Grove Community Centre for their Shuffleboard Club.
- Shuffleboard is a game for 2 or 4 people. The aim of the game is to out-score your opponent by shooting discs into the marked areas at the opposite end of the Shuffleboard mat.
- It’s easy to learn and the club is open to all ages and abilities.
- Sessions run from 12:30pm-2:30pm every Thursday.
- The session costs £1 per week, with the first week free. No booking necessary.
Fridays
An Afternoon at Notcutts Garden Centre & Cafe for 50+yrs
- On the last Friday of every month from 2pm-4pm, AgeUK organise a group get-together for anyone aged 50 and over at Notcutts Garden Centre and Cafe on Daniels Road.
- You can enjoy a hot drink whilst tucking into a sweet or savoury treat and take a look around the garden centre.

Friday Fitness @ Catton Grove Community Centre
- If you want to improve your fitness or just try something new, then head to the Catton Grove community centre for their Friday fitness sessions.
- Friday Fitness offers you the opportunity to exercise at a pace that suits you, with support and encouragement from a qualified fitness instructor, with the sessions being aimed at those aged between 25-60 who live in the local area.
- New members are welcome, just turn up to get involved.
- The session costs £2, or free if it’s your first session.
- The event runs from 9:30am – 10:30am.
Fabric De-Stash Pop Up Shop @ St Augustines Gate Unit 4
- Organised by ReDo, these pop-up events will run on a weekly basis and will showcase the highest quality fabric for sale.
- Sometimes there will even be clothes for sale for just £1!
- Event is running from 10am-2pm with free entry and free parking around the back of the building.
Harford FAB Fitness @ Harford Community Centre
- Head down to Harford Community Centre for their fun aerobics’ classes every Friday.
- This low impact class is a great way of maintaining fitness and improving mental well-being.
- The session starts at 2pm and costs £4.25, or £3.25 for Harford Community Card holders.

Sundays
Sunday Social Run Club @ Wright’s Café
- Start your Sunday with a refreshing run and a yummy treat from Wright’s Café on Bank Plain afterwards.
- Organised by the Fundamentality Run Club, this is the perfect event to socialise with like-minded runners, helping you stay physically and socially active.
- The team meet outside Wright’s café for 7:45am and are back in time for the café to open at 9am for a tasty treat and drink.
