Future Radio volunteer Henry is embarking on an out of this world challenge!
He’s aiming to build his Lego Millennium Falcon in the quickest time possible – all to raise money for Norwich based charity, Future Projects. The challenge will take place on Tuesday 22nd October.
Future Projects is a local charity which aims to support the most disadvantaged people in Norwich and Norfolk, through a specialist SEND school, a range of support services based within disadvantaged communities and Norwich’s Community Radio Station, Future Radio.
Henry says; “I’ve been a volunteer at Future Radio for over a year, and in that time, I’ve learned so many skills, which have helped me not only with finding a career in the media, but with the softer skills surrounding working in a team. This is so valuable as no other radio station offers such opportunities in the area.”
Please support Henry and Future Projects by making a donation here.
When you make a donation, leave a message to guess how long you think it will take Henry to complete his Lego Millennium Falcon build and you could win a Lego prize!
The fundraiser is in association with Langley Toys. You can tune in to Future Radio on 107.8FM in Norwich, DAB in Norwich, King’s Lynn and Cambridge, online or ask your smart speaker to “play Future Radio 107.8”.
