Whether you’re tuning in from across Norwich or around the world, you’ll find a vibrant mix of community storytelling, global sounds, and brilliant specialist music — all rooted in our mission to deliver authentic, inclusive and community-driven radio.
New Shows Joining The Schedule
We’re thrilled to welcome these brand-new shows to the station:
The Yacht Rock and West Coast Show with Gary Marchant – Sundays (fortnightly) at 7pm
Bringing the music of the West Coast to the East Coast. This melodic, harmony-rich show dives deep into the world of Yacht Rock and smooth West Coast sounds, featuring iconic artists like Steely Dan, Santana, and Journey, plus global acts influenced by the genre. Expect theme nights, listener requests, and serious musicianship.
Mini Bites with DJ Bikerider – Wednesdays (fortnightly) at 8pm
World, reggae, dance, esoterica and more — from the co-founder of Miniscule of Sound, the world’s smallest nightclub. Mini Bites delivers a joyful journey through dub, ska, punk, and global dance culture, all wrapped around themed episodes and deep musical knowledge.
The DNC Show with James Worsfold – Fridays (fortnightly) at 6pm
Future Radio’s sanctuary for electronic music and Norfolk’s rave scene. A vibrant mix of UKG, techno, drum and bass and more — with shout-outs to local events, interviews with DJs and promoters, and regular guest mixes. A must-listen for anyone immersed in Norfolk nightlife or UK dance culture.
Women’s Wellbeing Show with Nikki Roy – Thursdays (fortnightly) at 7pm
A relaxing, empowering space for music, mood and wellbeing. With uplifting tunes, soulful meditations, and expert guests from Norfolk’s wellness community,
Where in the World? with Phil Hinchley – Sundays at 3pm
A musical journey across the globe, spotlighting world music from every corner of the map. From African rhythms to South American beats, Phil brings rich sounds and stories from the global stage to your Sunday afternoons.
Key Schedule Changes from September 2025
We’ve also made some changes to existing shows to keep things fresh, accessible, and aligned with our new structured format. Here’s what’s moving, rotating, or gaining new slots:
Monday Evenings
- NEW NOISE! with Juliet now airs fortnightly Mondays at 7pm, alternating with New Music Review with Toby Newton. (This rotation repeats on Saturdays at 12pm.)
- Newton’s Brew with David Newton continues the night at 8pm.
Wednesday Nights
- Four on the Floor and More with Rod Gant moves to fortnightly Wednesdays at 8pm, alternating with new show Mini Bites.
Fridays
- Future Goes Pop with Reuben moves to Fridays 12–2pm – a perfect pop lunch hour.
- Pink Fu$ion’s Future House Show is now fortnightly Fridays at 6pm, alternating with The DNC Show.
Saturdays
- Stereo Underground with Richard Latto is now on Saturdays 1–3pm..
- C86 with David Eastaugh moves to Saturdays at 5pm.
- Rave Down with Stewart Nash airs at 6pm, followed by Timescope with Clive Williams at 7pm. These rotate fortnightly with This Ain’t A Scene with Jason Overman 6-8pm.
- Drum and Bass with DJ Venom follows at 8pm, with Hardboiled with DJ Hardwax at 10pm.
Sundays
- Comedy Lover’s Guide with Elliot Stewart now airs Sundays at 12pm.
- Americana with Steve Arlene and Lost Gems with Kingsley Abbott rotate Sundays 1–3pm.
- Groove Britain with Nigel Pearce runs from 4–6pm.
- The Road Goes On Forever with Nigel Westall is now Sundays at 6pm.
- Strictly Retro with Peter Wood and The Yacht Rock and West Coast Show rotate Sundays at 7pm.
- Best of the Blues with Steve Morphew is now Sundays at 9pm, followed by:
- The Album Show with Eric Williams at 10pm, rotating fortnightly with Steve Burnham’s 60s Show.
Staying Right Where They Are
No change for these audience favourites — still in their usual slots:
- Cellar of Soul with Kev Laws & Adrian Corbin’s Soul Show – fortnightly rotation Tuesdays at 8pm
- Slab City with Adele Carmichael – Thursdays at 8pm
- Sight of Music with Eamonn Burgess – Fridays at 9am
- Boogie Bureau with Kev O’Connor & D:Tox with The Dinch – fortnightly rotation Fridays at 8pm
- HallMighty’s Saturday Celebration Show with Christian and Kelly – Saturdays at 3pm
