The Dinch and guests will play an eclectic mix of mainly broken beats. Expect to hear the finest funk, soul, hip-hop, reggae, breaks, D&B over and whatever else they decide to pull out of their bulging bags of delight and mix seamlessly together for your listening pleasure over the 2 hours, live and direct.
Meet Your Hosts
John Whittaker
John has been passionate about music for as long as he can remember. At high school he would make mix tapes for his friends to try and introduce them to new music. In 2002, 4 years after purchasing his first set of decks he DJ'd for his first ever public gig at the UEA to a packed LCR and fell in love with DJing to an audience. Since then he has DJ'd regularly at various club nights in Norwich supporting many of his favourite artist and as far afield as Australia. He promoted his own club nights, Spank and D:tox at the Mustard lounge for several years in the naughties and starting DJing on Future Radio in 2011. He produces music under the pseudonyms The Dinch and Subursa.
