Platform at the Pub

Following on from the success of Platform Unplugged (2010) and Platform LIVE (2011)
Platform this time heads to the pub! Platform is Future Radio’s weekly arts show and is showcasing Norwich’s finest artistic talent at Platform at the Pub upstairs at the York Tavern on Friday March 23rd.
We are delighted to announce our line-up which will include:
John Osborne, who has recently sold out venues across England with his show John Peel’s Shed, an idea he developed here on Future Radio.
We are keeping it eclectic and also performing on the night will be virtuoso musicians:
The John Whitehead Quartet,
Bob Percy - magician extraordinaire back from performing at the Brits afterparty,
Stewart Harrington – a very talented singer- songwriter,
Andy Palmer AKA Normal For Norfolk guaranteed to offend :)
Martin Figura critically acclaimed poet
Dasfenster & the Alibis – a rock ‘n’ roll band with a difference.
Spinning his Shellac will be DJ 78 and compere for the evening is Future Radio’s Kate Roma. 
Platform at the Pub is at the York Tavern, I Leicester St Norwich NR2 2AS from 7.30pm Friday March 23rd. Tickets are £5 on the door – arrive early to avoid disappointment. All proceeds go to developing the arts on Future Radio.


Future Radio & UEA Survey

Since 2010 Future Radio has worked with media and deveolpment students from UEA to give them an insight to community radio and development in Norwich.

This year, students have embarked on a project to get more Norwich voices on air, and help Future Radio to better understand it's audiences.
